Our pre-k reading curriculum is supported by the program entitled "Let's Begin with the Letter People."  This program builds oral language skills, vocabulary and phonics awareness.  It teaches letter identification and beginning sound recognition.  Through the use of theme books, creative play and crafts, this program develops all areas of social, physical and literacy development in an age appropriate environment.

Saxon Math is the math program that we use in pre-k.  It teaches basic number, shape and color recognition.  Through use of manipulatives like counting bears and pattern blocks, students learn basic pattern and one-to-one correspondence skills.  Incorporated themes like weather, seasons, and fairy tales are just a few of the "fun" ways students learn about their world during math time.
